The YouTube uploads of Vindication: Blood of the Archmage are long, two hours and more, and they are all the same twenty-one minutes: episodes 1 to 8, repeated until the runtime looks like a whole series, or stitched to a different series after the statue scene. They end on Cedric’s strike and the crowd laughing that he could not even chip it. Part 1: What the Vindication: Blood of the Archmage YouTube videos contain

The first eight episodes: the Archmage’s death and the old woman who freezes time, the fourteen years on the mountain, Uncle Frank and Uncle Tomas at the grave, the registration desk, Princess Euphemia opening the trials, the statue unveiled at Thousand Sail Harbor, the contestants smashing its heart and its arm, Paxton about to carve off its head, and Cedric’s turn. Twenty-one minutes, ending on "what the hell is going on?".

That is the block the compilations repeat, sometimes seven times in a row, under a title promising the exile’s son’s vengeance. What the vengeance looks like, whether Cedric wins the trials, who the old woman is, none of it is in the video. The compilations are a trailer with the length of a film.

Part 2: What Vindication: Blood of the Archmage looks like past episode 8

Episode 9 is the answer the loop never gives: the strike was elemental reformation, Cedric is rebuilding his father’s statue, and the King answers with a trial by combat against every mage in the arena. Episodes 10 to 17 are that fight, from the chief mages of House Frost and House Gale to the elven squad and the ring of steel, and episode 18 is the reveal that the old woman in rags is the Elf Queen.

Then the half of the series nobody on YouTube has seen: the vindication in episode 20, the confession to his master in 21, her refusal in 22, the necrotic circle and the riot from 23, the possessed King naming Cedric the necromancer in 27, the cursed witness in 29 and 30, the death sentence in 31, the uncles dying in 36, Lucas named in 37, the proposal in 39 and the exit in 40. Thirty-two episodes, fifty-eight minutes.

Part 3: Why Vindication: Blood of the Archmage is better vertical

The series was made for a phone held upright, and the tall frame is where the statues, the wings and the dragon god live. The animation is AI-generated with a realistic look, and it was composed for the tall frame: the giant statue in the sea, the green circle over the harbor, the Queen on Aelaron all use the height.
