202612 episodesen

Beatrice Lawson has spent a decade in a hidden marriage to her college sweetheart, Desmond Belmont, waiting for a relationship that remains out of public view. Her patience breaks when she arrives to meet Desmond and instead sees him passionately kissing Madeline Fairfax. Caught in heavy rain and confronted with his apparent betrayal, Beatrice must decide how to respond to the man she trusted and the woman involved. That discovery pushes Beatrice toward divorce and a life no longer shaped by Desmond. With a new apartment and career, she starts building an identity beyond his shadow. Then she encounters Damian Crowley, a mysterious, attractive figure whose presence complicates her attempt to stand alone. As Desmond and Damian compete for her attention, Beatrice faces a painful choice: risk opening herself to love again, or protect her independence after years of sacrifice.
