Five years after being drugged, framed for plagiarism, and told her newborn twins had died, perfumer Vera has rebuilt her life around a small flower shop. Then a young girl named Luna walks in and calls her Mom, pulling Vera into the orbit of Luna's father, Carter, who offers a contract marriage. As Vera spends time with the child, she notices amber-gold eyes and a jasmine allergy that mirror her own, hinting that the past she mourned may not be what it seemed. Vera begins to question the story she was given. The more she uncovers, the clearer it becomes that the loss of her children was staged and that Carter is not who he claims, but Lawson Lane, CEO of Apex Group. Together they move to confront Rosalind and reclaim what was taken, while Vera fights to restore her name and her formulas.
