With her memory disrupted on the eve of her wedding, Evelyn spends the night with a man whose identity she does not know. The following morning brings a shocking complication: he is Julian, the man she is due to marry. Julian cancels the ceremony in public, unaware that he and Evelyn are already legally married. After joining Julian’s company as a designer, Evelyn faces pressure from several directions. She encounters workplace bullying, accusations that she copied someone else’s work, and schemes within the business. As she conceals her real identity and sometimes acts less capable than she is, Julian becomes drawn to the designer working around him. Their complicated connection develops alongside the question of when Evelyn’s identity and their existing marriage will come to light.
