Their Brother Lost in Space recap: Timothy, Matthew and the secret mission
Their Brother Lost in Space follows Timothy Snyder, an adopted son who secretly volunteers for a 30-year space mission in an induced coma while his three sisters give everything to their biological brother, Matthew. The series has 55 episodes.
The test comes back: Timothy Snyder has the Pilgrim gene, one in a million. That makes him the ideal candidate for Project Hail Mary, a joint effort by Snyder Labs, NASX and governments worldwide. The volunteer spends about 30 years in a medically induced coma while Earth searches for a new planet. Timothy signs. The lab mistakes him for Matthew Snyder, the biological son, and he corrects them. Then he asks for total secrecy.
Their Brother Lost in Space runs 55 episodes, in order, on 1 Minute Drama.
Part 1: The story of Their Brother Lost in Space
The Snyders adopted Timothy as a boy, and he grew up devoted to his three older sisters: Gianna, Helena and Arya. Three years ago Matthew, the biological son, came home, and the house changed sides. Now Matthew is the "only son." On camera and at dinner, the sisters put him first. Timothy has learned not to complain.
He has a side project: a cybernetic eye for Helena, who is blind. He finishes the prototype. That same week, Matthew falls down the stairs and says he was pushed. The sisters believe him without asking. Timothy trains under Ford McGee at NASX, breaks a record and collapses with an asthma attack. It's the asthma he got three years ago pulling Arya out of a fire at the mansion. The sisters have never connected the two.
At the hospital they rush to Matthew's wheelchair and accuse Timothy of faking. The housekeeper, Miriam, is the only one who remembers the fire. By episode 5, Timothy has a departure date and nobody in the family knows. No spoilers for the ending.
