Part 1: The story of My Sunset Love Affair with the Billionaire CEO
The show's bachelor is Paul Marshall, whose empire runs from aerospace to real estate, solar and AI. His adopted daughter Emma signed him up. Paul agrees on one condition: his identity stays secret, because going undercover is the only way he thinks he'll find real love. On set, the younger contestants greet Jennifer with "GRANNY ALERT!" and retirement-home jokes. She says she's there to show them what a real woman looks like, and when one of them lunges, Jennifer lands a right hook.
The host announces Paul Marshall, then reads the card: "a truck driver?" The contestants revolt. Paul gives his first rose and first date to Jennifer. When one woman recognizes the billionaire, he calmly denies it and says the real one is someone else. Told he can give only one rose per contestant, he gives every rose to Jennifer, so nobody can vote her out.
At the ice rink, with the rivals chanting "Loser!", Jennifer clears the extras off the ice and teaches Paul to skate herself. He asks why she came on the show, and she tells him: she's homeless and broke. He starts to propose on the spot, and the producer stops the take. Jennifer has told him everything. Paul hasn't told her anything. That's where things stand at episode 5. No spoilers for the ending.
