Just One Kiss recap: Farrah, Ethan and the summer deal
Just One Kiss follows Farrah Blake, an orphaned scholarship student in love since childhood with her best friend, heir Ethan Sinclair, whose mother has ruled him off-limits. 72 episodes; free 1 to 14; paid from 15.
Farrah Blake attends the rich kids' school because Mrs. Sinclair pays her tuition. There's one condition: her son Ethan is off-limits. Farrah agreed as a kid and has loved Ethan since before that. On graduation day, school bullies get hold of the love letter she wrote him and start reading it out loud.
Just One Kiss runs 72 episodes. Episodes 1 to 14 are free with no account; paid access starts at 15.
Part 1: The story of Just One Kiss
The letter never gets to Ethan's name. It's ruined first, and Farrah breathes again. The two of them have a private tap language, and Ethan notices nothing. So Farrah makes a practical decision: she'll lose her virginity before she leaves for USC. She tells her best friend, hoping for a reaction, any reaction. Ethan says: "I'll help you myself."
For a second she thinks he means something else. He doesn't. Ethan will be the matchmaker: a summer at his beach house, a lineup of guys, until he finds the right one for her. Farrah agrees, because saying no would be a confession. He helps her with her party dress, looks a beat too long and tells her she looks really good. Her heart races. His, she can't tell.
At the party, Mrs. Sinclair sees Farrah and goes cold. This is Ethan's world, not hers, and the rule still stands. Farrah is now caught between two deals: the tuition deal that forbids Ethan and the summer deal that makes him the middleman. She's lying in both. By episode 5 nobody has said anything out loud. No spoilers for the ending.
