Part 2: What happens in episodes 1 to 14
Eli Baran is a genie bound to a lamp for thousands of years, with three wishes per master. Billionaire Stephen Parrish used those wishes to build the Parrish empire. On his deathbed he frees Eli — and demands he marry granddaughter Christine for five years, until she turns 30. The will ties the inheritance to that marriage; Eli agrees to hide who he is and "protect" her, without going public with his power.
Christine signs under inheritance pressure: she treats Eli like an assistant, bans touch and bed, and still keeps ex Tony Roth in the frame. Behind the scenes, Eli cures Mr. Hiller of cancer (Illuminaries organization) and steers the business contract to Parrish — without telling her. She credits Tony, the NFL star who returns for her birthday.
Tony inserts himself into the deal, flirts, and pushes at the hotel. Eli interrupts; Christine blames him and asks for divorce, still missing the map of what he did for the company. In episode 14, on the eve of her 30th, the Hiller family tracks who Eli Baran is and how Christine treats him at home. The free block ends on that eve — the birthday and the contract's end land from episode 15.
Part 3: Characters in the 14 free episodes
Eli Baran. Genie freed from the lamp; Christine's husband on paper for five years. He cures Mr. Hiller and closes the Parrish contract — and hides power, identity, and the Illuminaries.
Christine Parrish. Billionaire's granddaughter and CEO of Parrish Enterprises. Marries so the estate does not go to shareholders; cold with Eli and not done with Tony — inheritance clock ticking.
Tony Roth. Ex-boyfriend, football ace / Super Bowl champ. Returns for the birthday, claims the Hiller contract, and presses at the hotel — opportunistic about status and a reunion, not a cartoon villain.
Stephen Parrish / Grandpa Parrish. Billionaire on his deathbed in episode 1: last wish frees Eli on the condition of the five-year marriage and protection of the granddaughter.
Hiller family (Mr. Hiller, Peter/Pete, Ruby). Hiller empire. The father is cured by Eli; the contract goes to Christine by order of the "great master"; in ep 14 they dig into Eli's identity and how she treats her husband.
Christine's mother. Presses for company results, floats Tony as a shortcut, and schedules the birthday party (same calendar day as Christine's 30th).
Part 4: Episode-by-episode guide to the 14 free
Below, what happens in each of the 14 free episodes, based on the English-audio transcription. Central beats — last wish, will, Hiller cure, hotel, divorce, eve of 30 — are flagged.
Episode 1
Flashback: a poor man finds the lamp and meets Eli, the genie of three wishes. On his deathbed, billionaire Stephen Parrish (Christine's grandfather) uses his last wish to free Eli — no lamp, no master — with one condition: marry granddaughter Christine for five years, until her 30th birthday. Eli accepts: hide his identity and protect her.
Episode 2
Will reading: Christine Parrish inherits the estate and control of Parrish Enterprises only if she marries Eli Baran; otherwise everything goes to the shareholders. She accepts under protest, bans touch and bed, and at work treats him as an assistant. Eli calculates: the five-year contract is almost over.
Episode 3
At the hospital, Mr. Hiller has advanced cancer. Eli enters the room, reveals he is master of the Illuminaries, and cures the father in exchange for the Hiller group giving the business contract to his wife Christine Parrish. The father recovers; son Pete stays suspicious.
Episode 4
Eli picks up a custom-ordered necklace. Four days until Christine's 30th — and the end of the contract. Friends reminisce about ex Tony (star quarterback / NFL). At the early birthday party, Tony shows up by surprise; friends mock Eli's gift.
Episode 5
Tony Roth (Super Bowl champ) puts a necklace on Christine in front of everyone. Guests ridicule the "assistant slash husband." Eli demands respect; Tony needles him. Marker: four days left until the contract ends.
Episode 6
Parrish stock tanks; mom presses for the Hiller contract and suggests asking Tony. Eli says he already solved the contract and investment — Christine does not believe him and brushes him off over business. Mom sends Christine to the salon for the birthday.
Episode 7
Eli cooks her favorite dish and tends roses he grew by hand — maybe the last time before the deadline. Tony dines with Christine, claims the Hiller contract, and asks to come back. She reminds him she is married. At home, a light fight over the flowers; hook with Tony.
Episode 8
Christine and Tony in a compromising beat. She says she will never love Eli; he keeps the promise to her grandfather and asks only for a few more days. In parallel, the Hillers: the contract goes straight to Christine by order of the "great master"; Pete still must not know who arranged it.
Episode 9
Peter Hiller delivers the contract to Christine. She thinks Tony did it, calls to thank him, and accepts the hotel invite. She asks Eli to handle a "work thing" drive and goes alone to meet Tony.
Episode 10
At the hotel, thanks turn into a pass: Tony recalls beach vacations, offers to grow Parrish together, and advances. Christine hesitates ("I already have a husband") but does not leave — cliffhanger of the hotel beat.
Episode 11
Eli bursts in to protect his wife. Fight with Tony. Christine says he overreacted and that she never wanted that marriage. Tony apologizes for rushing; she suggests they cool off.
Episode 12
Christine demands an apology to Tony and threatens Eli over the contract. He insists: he, not Tony, closed with the Hillers. She mocks the "house husband," asks for a "real man," and pushes toward separation.
Episode 13
Divorce on the table. Eli fires back: without him she would have no money, house, or car — and lists what he did for the company in five years. Her grandfather trusted him at her side; she only disappointed him. Fight; ice on the wound.
Episode 14
Christine softens: nothing romantic with Tony; tomorrow is mom's party — and her birthday. Eli: tomorrow all of this ends (end of the five years). The Hiller family confirms: Eli Baran is behind Parrish's success; if Christine does not value him, they will. End of the 14 free.
